Carol Lane CFP®, CMFC®, AIF®
Carol brings over thirty-five years of financial planning experience to the Financial Resource Center. Carol consults with clients to design retirement accumulation, retirement distribution and estate planning strategies to fit individual circumstances.
Since 1983, Carol has maintained professional working relationships with many families spanning four generations - from parents to great-grandchildren. In addition, she is experienced in conducting workshops and seminars for individuals, attorneys, corporations and churches.
Having lectured at Purdue University, Carol is proficient in group presentations as well as one-on-one consultations.
Carol is a member of the Retirement Planning Advisory Group. Carol also has a Bachelor's Degree from Purdue University.
Carol and her husband, Dennis, have been married for over 35 years and have two children, Caitlin and Evan, and multiple grandchildren. Their favorite family time is spent traveling and working around their farm.
Evan Lane CFP®, AIF®
Evan joined The Financial Resource Center, Inc. in May 2013 after graduating “With Distinction” from Purdue University. Evan earned dual degrees in Agribusiness Management and Financial Counseling and Planning.
Since starting with The Financial Resource Center Inc. in 2013, Evan has been committed to providing clients with comprehensive financial education and planning. Specifically, Evan excels in investment management and long-term financial planning. In his commitment to clients, he became a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) in 2015 and an Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF®) in 2017. He is also a member of the Retirement Plan Advisory Group. Evan strives to provide individualized, practical advice through building a trusting relationship with each client.
Evan is passionate about pursuing personal growth for both himself and his clients. He enjoys working with clients to develop better strategies for more efficient progress towards their goals. Evan understands that looking at your financial situation can be overwhelming, but believes that once you begin practicing informed decision making, you will see success and growth towards your financial goals over time.
Evan lives outside Frankfort, Indiana, with his wife, Crystal, and two children, Catalina and Mateo. In his free time, Evan enjoys raising Murray Grey Cattle, serving on the American Murray Grey Association Board of Directors, visiting cultural events, and attending Purdue sporting events. Bryan Donaugh CFP®, CRPC®
Bryan grew up in Ohio and attended Indiana Wesleyan University with a BS in Christian Ministries. After college, he moved to northern Indiana to work in a church ministry. In 2009, he moved to the Indianapolis area where his wife is from and has lived in the area ever since. After some years in church ministry, he made the transition to be a financial advisor in 2015. Since then, he has worked for both larger corporations and smaller firms, gaining experience to be able to best serve clients. Bryan became a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) in March 2024.
Bryan and his wife, Ashley, have been married for over 15 years and they have two sons. He is an avid sports fan and will gladly cheer on his Ohio State Buckeyes. Bryan enjoys coaching his boys’ teams and is their biggest fan. He enjoys fishing, taking walks with his wife, and serving at church. Bryan’s faith is also a major part of his life, with the whole family being active members at their Church.
Jerry King CFP®, CMFC®, AIF®
With over 35 years of employee benefits and financial planning experience, Jerry specializes in designing retirement distribution and portfolio allocation strategies to match the individual's income goals and circumstances. He provides one-on-one consultation with his clients to assess their needs and help them build an effective investment program for the future.
Jerry is passionate about education. He has experience lecturing at Purdue University, and holds workshops on retirement distribution planning, asset accumulation, and debt management. In 1997, Mr. King co-founded a local non-parochial school foundation, The Beech Grove Education Foundation, which has now grown to provide several advanced education scholarships.
Mr. King and his wife have been married for over 50 years and have two children and two grandchildren. In his spare time, Jerry enjoys reading, traveling, and woodworking.

Caitlin is an essential support to the members of the staff but also a resource for our clients. She assists in the development and implementation of firm policies and procedures while managing and overseeing the administration of client accounts and the office. She is a dynamic and result-oriented professional that is eager to help clients achieve their financial goals. Caitlin has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Purdue University in English.
Caitlin and her husband, Jeremy, have been married for over 10 years and have two children, Charlotte (Charly) and Cade. Their favorite family time is spent in horse-related activities, traveling, and working around their farm. Caitlin enjoys spending her ‘free-time’ riding horses, teaching horseback riding lessons, training horses, and reading.
